The Letters Behind The Name
Doctors have MD after their names. Accountants, CPA. Scott is also very proud of the prestigious letters behind his name, CAI.
CAI stands for Certified Auctioneers Institute. It’s a designation awarded to standout members of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), an organization founded in 1949 and headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.
The NAA represents the interest of thousands of auctioneers in the United States, Canada and across the world. The association is dedicated to providing its members with educational programming and resources to help them advance their professional careers.
The NAA provides its members with a diverse range of professional designation courses specifically designed to help auctioneers specialize while expanding their professional knowledge. Scott is a proud graduate of the CAI course that was taught on campus at Indiana University and takes three years to complete through three one-week classes.
He also takes great pride in the fact the NAA invited him to present “How To Use Music To Motivate Bidders” at one of their annual conventions.
In addition to the NAA, Scott is also a member of the Florida Auctioneers Association. As for awards, Scott is a former Florida Auction Bid Calling Champion and a frequent competitor in the International Auction Bid Calling Championship.
