Conservancy of Southwest Florida RedSnook Fishing Tournament and Auction
Two hundred fifty supporters of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida came together on Friday Oct, 1 to bid on a variety of items at the annual fishing tournement. The event was held at the beautiful Naples Yacht Club and a grand time was had by all. Some of the highlights of the auction included a week stay at a luxury private home in the Big Sky area of Montana. Four tickets to a Miami Dolphin Game complete with on field passes for before the game, club level seating, and a VIP parking pass. Two lovely Miami Dolphin cheerleaders came over for the event to cheer on the bids.
The highlight of the auction was package that featured fishing for two people to fish in the Everglades one day with legendary angler Roland Martin, accommodations in Everglades City with a delicious meal of Kobe Steaks from Jimmy P’s butcher shop, with a second day of fishing with Andy Hill. This package sold for $4,500.00. Due to the spirited bidding Roland and Andy decided to throw in another identical package that also sold for $4,500.00.
