Scott Robertson, CAI, BAS of Scott Robertson Event Fundraising Consultants/Auctioneers has again been selected to be the Fundraising Auctioneer for the Annual (Annual Gala) for Opera Naples.
This themed event, Fete du Cirque, will be held on February 19th, 2014 under the tent of the Grand Lawn Pavilion at the Ritz-Carlton Tiburon. Opera Naples is delighted that Myra Janco Daniels, founder of the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts (now Artis-Naples), will serve as the Honorary Chair of Fête du Cirque, which promises to be one of the most stunningly-visual fundraising events of the season. The Gala will be highlighted by colorful performers from Circus Sarasota who will serve as a curtain raiser to the opera company’s staging of the popular two-act opera, “I Pagliacci (The Clowns)” February 21 and 22. Both events – Fête du Cirque and the opera – will be held “under the big top” at the same venue – the Grand Lawn Pavilion of the Ritz-Carlton Tiburon.
In addition to the excitement of circus acts, attendees dressed in “opera chic” will enjoy a gourmet dinner and an evening of entertainment emceed by Ringmaster and celebrity auctioneer, Scott Robertson, who will also oversee the live auction that will include tickets to the Royal Enclosure during Britain’s Royal Ascot Week next June, the most prestigious event on the European horse-racing calendar invariably attended by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; tickets to New York’s Fashion Week; and a veranda suite on a luxury Seabourn cruise.
Robertson is considered one of the premier professional benefit auctioneers working in the United States today. In the past 20 years, Robertson has conducted hundreds of benefit auctions throughout Florida and the Southeastern United States and annually raises millions of dollars for a variety of not-for-profit organizations, schools and charities.
