The Matlacha Hookers fishing tournament to benefit Pine Island Elementary was a wonderful success thanks to the hard work by the event organizers, sponsors and fishermen. Thirty-four teams entered the tournament with Team Raymond gathering first place honors. The fishing team for Scott Robertson Benefit Auctioneers narrowly missed second place by 0.1 lbs.

The team was comprised of Joe Bryan and Charlie Chrissoverges and captained by Scott Robertson. Scott commented, “An interesting story on our success was that all of the fish we weighed in were caught in sight of Matlacha.

Olde Fish House in Matlacha was the host of this 10th annual fishing tournament.
